It can be said that we’re at the center of Bangkok happenings. Phrom Phong, Thonglor and Ekamai districts make up Mid Sukhumvit district, where some dubbed the city’s coolest neighborhood. It’s bubbling with local favorite hotspots from luxury and boutique malls, fashion boutiques to cool eateries from humble street stalls to fine dining, hip cafes and dazzling bars. Here, you will experience one of Bangkok’s most coveted neighborhoods.
Our neighborhood, Phrom Phong, is filled with boutique malls, restaurants, cafes, nightlife, with the Benchasiri Park at its doorstep. Most of the malls and cafes are stretches along the BTS station, within 10-20 minute walk. The best way to explore is by wandering through the streets and alleyways. Let yourself go, wander around and get surprised.
We are a hostel in Bangkok - Sukhumvit. Our hostel is situated on not-so-quiet Soi Sukhumvit 33/1, conveniently located within few minute walk from Phrom Phong BTS station, EmQuartier and Emporium mall, and the Benchasiri Park. We also do have some cool neighbors in this small community from a bakery, brunch cafe, ramen bar, craft beer bar, supermarket & more.
Transportation
By BTS Skytrain (Metro)
The fastest way to come to Speck hostel is by taking BTS Skytrain. Our hostel is located near BTS Phrom Phong station. Leave the station via Exit 5. From there it’s just 150 meters walking. Walk straight for few steps until you see ‘Soi Sukhumvit 33/1’ on the right. Turn right into Soi Sukhumvit 33/1 and walk straight for 110 meters, then you will find us on your right.
Coming from Suvarnabhumi Airport
After exiting customs, proceed to the basement level and follow the signs for the Airport Rail Link (ARL). Board the ARL train and get off at Phaya Thai Station, where you can transfer to the BTS SkyTrain at Phaya Thai Station. From there, take the BTS SkyTrain to Phrom Phong Station.
Coming from Don Muang Airport
The recommended route is to take the A1 Bus. This shuttle service connects Don Muang Airport (DMK) to Mochit Bus Station, with a stop at BTS Mo Chit Station. From there, you can transfer to the BTS SkyTrain and travel to Phrom Phong Station.
Coming from Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Station
Krung Thep Aphiwat Station serves as an interchange station with the MRT at Bang Sue Station. Board the MRT Blue Line and get off at Sukhumvit Station, where you can either transfer to the BTS SkyTrain at Asok Station or take a 1-km walk to our location.
By Taxi (or any rail-hailing app)
If you have large luggage or stuff to carry, you may consider taking a taxi or using Grab app. From Suvarnabhumi Airport, it would take around 1 to 1.30 hours depending on the traffic. Alternatively, from Don Muang Airport, you would normally reach us within 1 hour.
